The People-Pleasing Recovery Plan
A psychology-informed, 1:1 coaching program
to help you stop the people-pleasing that's draining you...
so that you can get back your time, energy, and headspace
to finally focus on what matters most to you.
The People-Pleasing Recovery Plan is an 8-session, psychology-informed coaching program designed to take you from emotionally exhausted and stretched thin to grounded, clear, and empowered. If you’re worn out from constantly putting others first, this program will help you take back your time, energy, and mental bandwidth, so you can focus on what truly matters to you.

Over the course of 3–4 months, we’ll meet for eight personalized, 1:1 video sessions. In between, you’ll complete self-paced course material that helps you integrate what we cover and keep moving forward in real life, not just in theory.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. I’ll guide you through a thoughtful, step-by-step process tailored to your individual needs, so change feels manageable, not overwhelming. You’ll gain skills and strategies rooted in psychology that help you make meaningful, lasting shifts, without feeling like you have to 'fix' yourself.

By the end, you’ll have a practical toolkit and a clear, sustainable plan to move forward—more connected to yourself, more able to say no without guilt, and more free to live on your own terms.

The Process
I'll guide you through a transformative, thoughtfully structured process
in my 8-session 1:1 coaching program. Below is a description of each step.
Step 1: Self-Awareness—Understand What’s Draining You

In this first step, you’ll get clear on what people-pleasing looks like in real life, why it happens, and how it affects your relationships and wellbeing. Through a customized assessment, we'll identify your specific patterns and where they most drain your energy. We’ll also identify your needs and desires to create a roadmap for change. This step comes first because awareness is the foundation for change; it allows you to make conscious choices moving forward that are best for your own wellbeing, rather than operating on autopilot. The result: an eye-opening understanding leading to the start of a plan to break free from the people-pleasing that's draining you.
Step 2: Mental/Emotional Flexibility—Handle the Thoughts & Feelings That Drive the Patterns

People-pleasing is most commonly driven by two things: hidden rules and avoidance of difficult feelings. In this step, you'll learn concrete, actionable tools to recognize and respond differently to your thoughts and feelings, helping you work with your mind and emotions instead of fighting against them or being controlled by them. This step follows naturally after the first part of awareness-building because once you see your patterns, you’ll need skills to navigate the internal landscape that maintains them. The result: You’ll be empowered to handle your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions differently to further help you break people-pleasing patterns.
Step 3: Self-Honoring—Prioritize Your Wellbeing Without Guilt

During this step we’ll further clarify your needs, wants, values, goals, and personal rights, and we’ll strategize ways you can attend to them on a regular basis. Yours are equally important to other people's, and honoring them and respecting yourself makes you able to help, give and show up for others in a more authentic way. We'll assess the best strategies for you to take good care of yourself, that you can realistically incorporate into your daily life without feeling guilty or selfish. You'll learn how to discern between the kind of helping and giving that's led by your values, and the kind of people-pleasing that drains you. The result: You'll gain tools to balance out showing up for others and showing up for yourself, so you can start making choices that serve you and your wellbeing.
Step 4: Self-Worth—Develop Self-Acceptance & Worthiness From the Inside Out

In this step, you'll learn where self-judgment comes from, how it gets reinforced, and what to do about it. You'll gain concrete, actionable skills to build self-compassion—the foundation for solid self-worth—so instead of exhausting yourself trying to turn negative thoughts into positive ones, you’ll have simple, effective ways to work with your inner critic that fit naturally into your day. You'll start to untangle your worthiness from what you provide for others or what you achieve. The result? Your worth will start to build from the inside out, without relying on external validation, which will help you to feel deserving of advocating for personal rights and prioritizing your needs.
Step 5: Self-Advocacy—Learn & Practice Assertiveness & Boundary-Setting Skills

In this step, you'll master practical tools and skills for setting healthy boundaries, making and declining requests, and expressing honest opinions and feedback, while staying true to your kind, caring, empathic nature. This step follows naturally because once you've built self-awareness and developed a respectful, supportive relationship with yourself, protecting your time and energy becomes essential. You'll practice being assertive and standing up for yourself in your most challenging relationships and situations, while being fair and respectful. The result: you'll feel empowered to advocate for yourself in a way that truly supports your wellbeing and prevents you from abandoning yourself.
Step 6: Committed Action—Create a Step-by-Step Plan for Lasting Change

In this final step, we’ll turn your insights and skills into lasting change with a customized, sustainable action plan. Together, we’ll set realistic goals across the areas we’ve covered, broken into manageable micro-steps to avoid overwhelm. You'll learn how to maintain change, and we'll strategically identify priorities and specific next steps. Your plan will weave the tools you’ve learned into simple daily routines that build progressively without demanding excessive time. The result: a clear roadmap to continue your progress beyond our work together— creating lasting freedom from people-pleasing patterns and cultivating a sense of peace, ease, and self-worth you've now discovered is possible.
